Interview with VET teachers

Learning is a process, students themselves achieve, it is not something done to them. It leads to change, which results from experience and increases the potential for improved performance and further learning.

Students, regardless of their educational level, need principal opportunities to develop and practice transversal competencies, thinking processes and motor skills during learning practice. At different stages of learning, following the “Five-Stage Model” developed by Professor Gilly Salmon, from the University of Leicester, learners face diverse challenges and needs. Some of them, like necessity to maintain motivation and a need for authentic tools for assessment are common throughout the learning process. Some are more characteristic to a particular stage.

We’ve got in contact with VET teachers to understand their views and perspectives on this.
