Rural Impact Networking Event

On 29 May 2026, BCLIT organised the Rural Impact Networking Event within the Rural Impact project at Constanța Maritime University. The activity brought together educators, institutional representatives, local stakeholders and community members interested in sustainability, entrepreneurship, inclusive education and community development.

The networking event provided space for participants to exchange ideas on how young people from rural areas can be better supported in developing social entrepreneurship competences connected to local needs. Special attention was given to VET learners, NEETs and learners with fewer opportunities, highlighting the importance of accessible learning pathways and practical tools for community-based initiatives.

During the event, BCLIT presented the main project results, including the online platform, Social Entrepreneurship Online Modules, the Business Plan Workbook and the Case Study Handbook. These resources support learners and VET professionals in understanding rural social entrepreneurship, business planning, digital promotion, financial literacy and community impact.

The event also encouraged networking among participants and opened discussion on how European cooperation can contribute to inclusive learning, sustainable local development and stronger opportunities for rural youth. Through Rural Impact, BCLIT continues to contribute to practical and future-oriented learning opportunities for young people, educators and communities.
